For 40 years, the teams at Audevard have been supporting equine vets in their daily practice by offering comprehensive and innovative therapeutic solutions, underpinned by the company’s vast expertise in equine health.
Through a series of portraits, Laboratoires Audevard is introducing the men and women who every day place their skills and talents at the service of equine vets in France and Europe.

“I trained as a chemist and obtained a DESS (post-graduate specialist diploma) in Control & Quality, in the pharmacy. This training helped me become Chemical and Regulatory Development Manager before I moved on to the position of Head of Production/Purchasing/Logistics in a small company that developed and manufactured health and hygiene products for humans.
I started working at Audevard in 2010 and joined the Management Committee two years later.
Providing peace of mind to equine vets
As the Director of Operations my main role is to manage internal and external flows, i.e. supplying our products to fill the orders placed by our customers. Upstream, we work hand-in-hand with our partners to ensure we hold stocks of all of the high-quality materials and products for all of our articles.
My job requires that I am highly proactive and responsive to ensure the correct supply of products (medicines, food supplements, external care products) to avoid shortages and enable vets to always have high-quality solutions at their disposal thereby allowing them to care for any horse throughout Europe, as well as making products available for our major export markets.
Customer satisfaction is our highest priority. We are proud of the trust vets place in Audevard and strive every day to honour this trust.
Learning and developing the skills of committed colleagues
Each day I am motivated by the fact that I work in a company that is constantly evolving and moving forwards, as I relish taking on new challenges. I really appreciate the atmosphere in the team, which helps my colleagues move forwards and develop.
I believe that teamwork and communications are absolutely essential.
I talk a lot to my colleagues in the various departments but also to our suppliers, external partners, different service providers, etc.
Building sound relationships, based on trust, enables us to overcome challenges as and when they arise and encourages us all to excel. A perfect illustration of this is the period during and after covid, when our partners were out of stock, as the entire team joined forces to find temporary supply and quality solutions so we could continue offering our products to vets.
Over the course of the last 13 years my role and tasks have changed a lot, which gives me real satisfaction and makes me feel like remaining at Audevard.
In my opinion, the strength of the company lies in its equine expertise, its desire to continue expanding, and its passionate and committed teams, plus the working atmosphere. The human scale of the company means that we all know each other and are able to exchange ideas and move forward together.”
Audevard, for 40 years dedicated to horses and those who take care of them.
