An equine vet appointed Scientific and Marketing Director at Audevard
Vincent Chassaing, an equine vet, has joined Audevard’s Management Committee as its International Scientific and Marketing Director. After working for several years as an equine vet and for six years at Audevard, he will continue to play a part in improving the health of horses and the daily lives of vets, but just in a different way.

From a hands-on to a hands-off role, with equine health being the common thread
Vincent Chassaing started his career as an equine vet before joining Audevard in 2018 just after completing a Master’s degree in Business at EMLyon.
His first job at Audevard was to train and support vets in their daily use of the company’s products. “By working for Audevard I wanted to continue being involved in equine health, but in a different way from the more traditional and hands-on clinical role. Quite quickly, my practical experience from working as an equine vet and the wide range of practitioners I met during training courses helped me to put a more practical spin on our actions, and improve the support offered to equine vets.”
Two skillsets allow Vincent to convert needs on the ground into practical solutions
By putting this pragmatic approach into action, Vincent then became the head of the Marketing and Technical Division and was involved in developing innovations and launching new products to vets. “Applying my experience at EMLyon to the niche market of equine health has enabled me to take a step back and guide our choices in terms of development as well as the way we launch our innovative products”. Vincent is now in charge of developing the use of products among our customers in Europe, i.e. over 10,000 equine vets in more than 20 countries. “Audevard sells more than half its products outside France, and we are growing rapidly in these countries. Surprisingly, each country has its own way of doing things in terms of equine health. Our European vision will help us expand our knowledge and offer the best solutions to a wide range of practitioners.”
Facilitating the life of vets by developing the health sector
This Appointment is the next logical step by adding a veterinary professional on Audevard’s Management Committee. It also reflects the company's commitment to advancing the career of its employees. “As the Scientific and Marketing Director at Audevard, I am deeply conscious of the problems of the equine veterinary profession and my aim is to provide my colleagues with innovative solutions to help them manage the health of their horses on a day-to-day basis. In addition to medicines and feed supplements, I believe it is important that Audevard continues to invest specifically in the veterinary profession and, more broadly, in the equine health sector.”
Audevard, for 40 years dedicated to horses and those who take care of them.
